Nimesh Shah | Franchise Recruitment
Originally working in business travel for a top investment bank, Nimesh started up SureLet Hemel Hempstead Ltd (now Sure Sales & Lettings) in 2003 alongside his cousin & business partner Sunil. As there were few businesses specialising in lettings at the time, SureLet rapidly became an established business in the town and continues to be one of the longest standing and most successful rentals companies in Hemel Hempstead. Similar to his cousin & business partner Nimesh, Sunil became joint director of SureLet Hemel Hempstead Ltd (now Sure Sales & Lettings) after deciding to step back from working in Investment Banking HR at Morgan Stanley in London. Where Nimesh covered the back end running of the business, Sunil was the face of the office, building solid relationships with a multitude of new landlords and tenants, many of which continue to deal with the business to this day. In 2015, alongside Nimesh, Sunil started franchise sales for the Sure Property Group and was instrumental in revamping the franchising model and helping to establish new Sales & lettings offices setting up across the UK.
Bradley Trainis | Branch Manager
With over 30 years’ experience working for both independent & corporate estate agents, Bradley has an in depth knowledge of the property market and invaluable experience in sales, lettings and property management. As a result of this, you can rest assured that whatever your property matters may be, you will be in safe hands! Bradley joined Sure Sales & Lettings Hemel Hempstead as Branch Manager in 2015 and is responsible for overseeing the sales, lettings and property management teams, ensuring each team is working effectively and that all procedures are carried out in a professional and timely manner.
Martin Rees | Marketing Coordinator
Martin joined Sunil & Nimesh in July 2011 to help start up the sales arm of the business – Sure Sales. Although at the time the property market was still recovering from the recession, his upbeat and relentless enthusiasm to make the business a success was instrumental in helping the business grow exponentially year on year. Martin became Marketing Coordinator at the start of 2017 and is now responsible for social media, marketing and events for the Hemel office. Outside of his estate agency work, Martin is also a successful magician and set two new Guinness World Record in 2016 for performing the most magic tricks on a skydive, all to raise money for a children’s charity!
Arif Javed | Valuations Manager
Starting his career as an Apprentice Lettings Negotiator, Arif quickly progressed to Head of Lettings then moved into the Sales sector as a Property Valuer. As well as rising through the ranks within the Agency, Arif also started his own cleaning company which lead to him winning the Lloyds Bank Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award when he was 19. Arif joined Sure Sales in September 2016 where his intuitive awareness of market conditions and ability to understand a client’s needs has help him secure many property instructions & made him an integral part of the Sure Sales team.
Rachel Lloyd | Senior Negotiator
Growing up, Rachel’s family owned their own independent estate agency which gave her invaluable knowledge of the property sector from a young age. Moving from her family business to a corporate agency in London, Rachel quickly established herself as a prolific negotiator dealing with high end clients & celebrities on their homes. As well as working within an agency, Rachel also manages her family’s rental properties so she understands and appreciates the process from a landlord’s perspective. Her deep passion & enthusiasm for the property sector is a driving force in her work and her approachable, friendly nature ensures all clients receive maximum customer satisfaction.
Abbie Lansley | Senior Lettings Negotiator
Abbie started as part of a lettings apprenticeship scheme in 2015 and on the successful completion of her apprenticeship was promoted to Lettings Negotiator. Originally coming from a customer service background, Abbie has a confident and professional approach to her work, be it dealing with tenant enquiries, attending viewings and negotiating offers with landlords. She takes the time to understand people’s needs rather than making assumptions and is the first to pick up the phone and keep landlords up to date on their properties progress and inform them of any new legislation that may have come into effect.
Magda Tomala | Lettings Negotiator
Magda has been a Negotiator at Sure Sales & Lettings for over 5 years and is predominantly responsible for conducting lettings viewings and generating new rentals business. Her experience gained from working within the company has given her a good knowledge of the lettings market in the Hemel Hempstead area. Originating from Poland, Magda has the added advantage of being able to speak with Polish tenants in their own language, which instantly makes the tenants feel more comfortable and confident in dealing with their property matters and ensures a swift and smooth transaction in getting matters resolved.
Shelley Gindrat | Lettings Negotiator
Shelley joined Sure Sales & Lettings as a part-time Lettings Negotiator in April 2016 and after impressing the team with her capabilities, became a full time member of staff. When registering tenants, she takes the time to establish exactly what they are looking for and often is able to match the right tenant with the right property on the first day of dealing with them. Having grown up in Hemel, Shelley has a good knowledge of the town and her experience from previous work has resulted in her being able to act promptly and professionally when any problems arise.
Helen Whiteman | Property Manager
Helen joined Sure Sales & Lettings in 2013 as the first Property Manager to be permanently based in the Hemel office. Her initial role was to deal with any maintenance issues that arose in tenanted properties and arrange contractors to visit and repair accordingly. Since then, Helen has taken over other responsibilities such as ensuring Landlords are up to date with their annual property gas safety checks and dealing with rent protection to give landlords peace of mind.
Gemma Patterson | Property Manager
Coming from a background in property management having spent 7 years with a corporate agent, after taking time out to raise her children, Gemma joined Sure Sales & Lettings in 2014 to assist in dealing with maintenance issues and property inspections. Gemma has a keen eye for how properties look and her in depth inspections ensure that landlords are kept fully up to speed on how their property is being looked after and where living standards fall short, she will be the first to inform tenants of what areas need improvement.
Jodie Franklin | Block Manager
Jodie has been with Sure Sales & Lettings for over 8 years starting out as Lettings Administrator. On returning from maternity leave, Jodie was promoted to Sales Administrator ensuring all paperwork was correct and accounted for. In 2014, the directors established S & A Property Management which specialises in apartment blocks maintenance and management. Keen for a new venture, Jodie took on the responsibility for block management administration and impressing the directors with her initiative, was promoted to Block Manager and now oversees the running of a number of apartment blocks in the Hemel area.
Tom Gilkes | Senior Sales Negotiator
Tom joined the Sure Sales & Lettings team as part of the office upgrade in 2017. With over 20 years’ experience working in the property industry around the Hemel Hempstead area, over the years Tom has worked in sales, lettings & property management, giving him an unrivalled knowledge of the industry & the area.
